Pongo Power is in the business of transformation. We are a personal training community operating in Park Slope, Brooklyn, and online. We create exercise programming customized according to each individual’s health history and fitness goals. 

Founded in 2007, Pongo Power offers professional, safe, and private personal training packages, as well as group fitness, and specialized coaching programs. We launched our B2B corporate wellness coaching in 2017and have consistently evolved over the course of the pandemic. Job Description

As Pongo Power's Sales Manager, you will have the unique opportunity to connect with both individual clients about their own health and fitness journey and with human resources professionals about the wellness of their staff and co-workers. You will be setting sales goals in consultation with the General Manager and working with our staff of certified personal trainers in assisting them to reach their quarterly and annual sales goals. Working with our Director of Business Development, you'll be utilizing our robust outbound sales system as we build relationships in both the B2C and B2B spaces.   • Utilize our database in order to close new sales by making phone calls, sending emails and texting leads
  • Identify new markets and opportunities through partnerships 
  • Meet and exceed achievable sales goals and outreach metrics
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to create engaging promotions
  • Help to create an inventive culture in which health and fitness are fun and funny

You are a perfect fit if you have:

  • 2-5 years of sales experience
  • knowledge of the effective management of pipelines and sales cycles in closing business
  • comfort in selling to top-tier executives as well as private individuals
  • passion for health and wellness (specifically an interest in fitness)
  • a home office (a working computer and a stable internet connection)
  • a great sense of humor and ability to work independently 
  • you love to close and have a strong desire to win new business! 
  • experience in B2B sales
  • a strong network of connections in the B2B corporate wellness arena
  • worked in the fitness industry before
